Professional Development

Your experience is real.
The question is whether it
reads that way
to the right employers.

Years of work don't automatically translate. The Canadian job market has its own language, its own expectations, and its own gatekeeping. We build the tools that make your professional history legible — and run the campaign that gets it in front of the right people.

Is this service for you?

Read through these statements honestly. Each one describes a situation that is easy to overlook and expensive to discover late.

I've been sending applications and not hearing back — or getting interviews but not converting them to offers.

My résumé was built for a different market — it reads like it was written for employers in my home country, not in Canada.

My LinkedIn profile hasn't been updated in over a year and doesn't reflect where I'm going — only where I've been.

I have strong international credentials, but I feel like Canadian employers are discounting them without really seeing what I've done.

I'm changing industries or roles and I don't know how to position my existing experience for a target I haven't held before.

I've been told my experience is strong — but nobody has helped me translate it into language the right employers will immediately recognise.

I don't have a targeted employer list — I'm applying broadly and hoping something lands, rather than running a real campaign.

I'm a newcomer professional who has been in Canada less than two years and I'm still learning how this job market works.

I've had the same job search routine for months — and the results haven't changed.

I want to invest in a structured, professional approach — not keep doing what isn't working and expecting a different result.

If you said yes to six or more — your job search needs a professional rebuild, not more applications. Every month spent with the wrong tools is a month of opportunities that went to someone whose résumé told the story better than yours. A scoping call is free. Rebuilding your approach after another six months of silence is not.

There are two zones. You start in one and transition to the other.

Job searches don't always resolve on a schedule. But a consulting engagement cannot run indefinitely — for your sake as much as ours. This is how we handle that honestly, without abandoning clients who haven't landed yet.

Zone 1 — Active Engagement

The contracted work. Defined scope. Full attention.

This is the paid engagement — the résumé, the LinkedIn profile, the campaign, the coaching. It runs for the defined scope and timeline in your contract. During this phase, you have direct access to Brian Ssennoga, active campaign support, and real-time adaptation as the search develops.

The active engagement ends when the scope is complete — not when the job is found. Most clients land during or shortly after this phase. Some do not — and that is handled honestly.

  • Full professional asset build
  • Active employer targeting and application tailoring
  • Direct consultant access throughout
  • Coaching calls and interview preparation included
Zone 2 — Olympia Community

Post-engagement support. Light-touch. Ongoing.

When the active engagement concludes, clients who haven't yet landed transition into the Olympia Community — a WhatsApp-based professional group where job opportunities, resources, and market intelligence are shared on an ongoing basis.

This is not a paid service. It is a community of professionals who have gone through the same process. Job leads get shared. Referrals happen. The relationship continues — just in a different mode.

  • WhatsApp-based — low friction, high relevance
  • Curated job opportunities shared as they surface
  • Peer connections with professionals in similar transitions
  • Occasional group resources and workshops
  • No time limit — stay as long as it's useful

Why this structure exists: rather than extending the engagement indefinitely at full consulting rate — which creates a bad dynamic for both parties — the Community Zone keeps the relationship alive and useful without misrepresenting what a consulting engagement can promise. We cannot guarantee a job. We can guarantee the tools, the campaign, and continued connection to opportunities after the contracted work is done.

One model. Built for the complexity of a real job search.

Real clients. Real outcomes.

Maureen Mutesasira

Fifteen years of HR leadership. Rebuilt for the Canadian market.

Fifteen years of HR across talent acquisition, OD, compensation design, and labour relations. The challenge wasn't qualifications — it was professional presence. LinkedIn rebuilt from scratch with eight headline options and three bio versions. Government of Alberta and post-secondary sector as primary targets, employer-level contact mapping, and post-interview follow-up templates.

Started December · Hired May Edmonton

"I had built fifteen years of real HR experience — I just needed a way to present it so Canadian employers could immediately see my value. Brian rebuilt my professional presence from the ground up: the LinkedIn headlines, the bios, the application strategy, even the follow-up after interviews. Within a short period, I secured a role that aligned with my experience and career goals. My advice to anyone going through this process: follow Brian's guidance and trust his process — success doesn't happen by accident. It happens because the groundwork was laid properly."

Fiona Kyomukama

Nineteen years of service. Prepared to speak to every bit of it.

Nineteen years at Watoto Child Care Ministries — 200+ children supported, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, team management across four countries. The interview was the gap. Full interview preparation across ten competency areas, with STAR-format responses built from her actual history. Faith-based community support roles require candidates who can speak fluently about their philosophy of care — the preparation made sure the interview reflected her depth.

Started May · Hired August Community Support Worker, Edmonton

"I did not just target the job. I volunteered with my team, in multiple sites. By the time I walked into that interview I wasn't nervous. I was ready. I had the role within weeks."

3

new active clients per month

The limit is there because the work demands it.

Every Professional Development client works directly with Brian Ssennoga. The Done With You model in particular requires active, ongoing engagement — reviewing applications, adapting messaging, preparing for interviews. That level of attention has a natural ceiling.

Three new active clients per month is that ceiling. When spots are full, new clients join the waitlist — and start receiving resources immediately while they wait.

Join the waitlist

Leave your details and we'll be in touch within 48 hours with your estimated wait time and a first resource matched to your situation.

  • Immediate resource matched to your stage of job search
  • Access to the Olympia Community while you wait
  • Direct notification when an active spot opens
  • No obligation — leave at any time
